ICD Long Bien is officially recognized to be a customs clearance point

Ministry of Transport announced that Inland container depot Long Bien is recognized as a place for implementing customs procedures for import and export goods.
The representative of the Vietnam Maritime Administration said that the Ministry of Finance has just allowed customs procedures for export and import will be implemented in ICD Long Bien.
“Therefore, bill of lading will clearly indicate the destination port is ICD Long Bien and containers/cargoes can be straightly ramp/truck to ICD to make customs clearance. Consignees or related parties do not need to process at port which results in saving time, reducing contact points and helping ports avoid congestions”
On April 20, 2020, the Ministry of Transport of Vietnam issued Decision No. 711 on the announcement of the opening of ICD Long Bien.
ICD Long Bien is located at No. 1 Huynh Tan Phat Street, Sai Dong B Industrial Park (Thach Ban Ward, Long Bien District, Hanoi) invested by Hateco Logistics JSC according to Decision No. 711.
Customs license will be expired in 2025 or until the completion of ICD Co Bi, Phu Dong.
Total area of ICD Long Bien is about 12 hectares, of which the warehouse area is 50,000m2 with the capacity of storage is about 135,000 TEUs per year.
ICD Long Bien will create favorable conditions for the implementation of import and export procedures of enterprises in Hanoi and surrounding areas.
